Nava Chetana Literacy Programme

Dear All,
The State Literacy Mission has selected 12 Panchayats in Malappuram district for the implementation of the Nava Chetana Literacy Programme in Scheduled Caste colonies. Morayur Grama Panchayat is also included in this project.
As part of this programme, free Seventh Standard Equivalency Education will be provided to learners identified from the Scheduled Caste colonies in our Panchayat. In addition, learners for the Fourth Standard Equivalency Programme are also being identified.
As part of this initiative, a survey will be conducted in our Panchayat starting from 25/04/2026 (Saturday). For this purpose, specially assigned students will visit Scheduled Caste families in our Panchayat and collect details such as the learner’s name, class, parent’s name, relationship with the parent, house number, ward number, etc., and record the information. Ward members or Kudumbashree workers will accompany the students conducting the survey.
We kindly request the cooperation of all Scheduled Caste families in this ward with this survey, which is being carried out solely for the implementation of this completely free programme.
