Uniting for a Drug-Free Morayur

To completely curb the proliferation and abuse of narcotic substances across the state, the Kerala Police and the Local Self-Government Department (LSGD) are jointly implementing 'Operation Toofan 2.0' with extensive public participation.

Beyond being a mere law enforcement measure, the objective of the project is to extend anti-drug initiatives to every ward and household by integrating the enforcement authority of the police with the grassroots reach of the Local Self-Government Department. Alongside stringent preventive measures to curb the spread of drugs across the state, widespread campaigning and continuous surveillance at the local level must be ensured.

As part of this initiative in Morayur Grama Panchayat, the Toofan flag was hoisted, followed by a large-scale convention, an anti-drug pledge, and awareness sessions at the Arimbra Bappu Memorial Auditorium.
