Under the joint auspices of Morayur Grama Panchayat and the Krishi Bhavan, Farmer's Day observance and an honoring ceremony for exemplary farmers were organized on a grand scale. The event was inaugurated by Morayur Grama Panchayat President Mr. Abdul Jaleel Mundodan. Grama Panchayat Vice President Ms. Safiya Manjappulath presided over the function. Morayur Agricultural Officer Ms. Nimisha C delivered the welcome address.

Farmers who demonstrated excellence across various agricultural fields were felicitated during the ceremony:

• Veteran Farmer: Mr. Appu Kottammal
• Woman Farmer: Ms. Fathima Anwar Kuzhiyancheri
• Best Farmer (SC Category): Mr. Ayyappan Pulikkottil
• Best Organic Farmer: Ms. Khadeeja Mundott
• Best Student Farmer: Ms. Archana Karimbil
• Best Paddy Farmer: Mr. Udayakumar Athikkunn
• Best Vegetable Farmer: Mr. Vasu Kummaliyil
• Best Agricultural Worker: Mr. Kunjimoin Pazhangaratodi
• Best Dairy Farmer: Mr. Kabeer Bangalath
• Best Fish Farmer: Mr. Muhammed Fazal Kattipparuthy

Additionally, agricultural worker Mr. E. C. Moin Edakkott was honored with a Special Mention, and Ms. Dilshath Edakott Pazhangaratodi received a Special Honor; both were felicitated by draping them with traditional shawls (ponnada).
