Budget Report 2025-2026
In the Morayur Grama Panchayat budget for the financial year 2025-26, a total of ₹30.64 crore is estimated to be available, including ₹2.84 crore carried over as opening balance from the previous year. A fresh revenue of ₹27.79 crore is expected this year through tax and non-tax revenues, government grants, and loans. A total expenditure of ₹25.55 crore has been earmarked in the budget for the panchayat's day-to-day administration and developmental activities. Primary priority in expenditure has been given to the service sector, comprising housing, drinking water, healthcare, Anganwadi nutrition, and Scheduled Caste welfare. Along with this, appropriate funds have been allocated for maintenance projects for roads, buildings, and educational institutions, as well as productive sectors like agriculture and animal husbandry. Ultimately, this is a surplus budget aimed at the comprehensive progress of the panchayat, leaving a closing balance of ₹5.09 crore at the end of the financial year.
