Budget Report 2024-2025
In the Morayur Grama Panchayat budget for the financial year 2024-25, a total of ₹29.69 crore is estimated to be available, including ₹6.45 crore carried over from the previous year. A fresh income of ₹23.23 crore is expected this year through tax and non-tax revenues, government grants, and loans. An expenditure of ₹27.84 crore in total has been allocated in the budget for developmental activities across various sectors and day-to-day administration. The highest priority in expenditure is given to the service sector, which includes housing, healthcare, education, drinking water, and Scheduled Caste welfare. Alongside this, adequate funds have been allocated for infrastructure such as roads and public buildings, as well as productive sectors like agriculture and animal husbandry. With an estimated surplus balance of ₹1.85 crore at the end of the financial year, this is a surplus budget aimed at the comprehensive progress of the panchayat.
